On Monday, 5 May at 14.00 h, Grenchen Airport welcomed the first of two training aircrafts from Swiss AviationTraining (SAT). Directly following the landing, the two-engine DA42 Twin Star was baptised by the airport fire brigade. This was a very special occasion which even the press didn’t let pass unnoticed. Swiss AviationTraining now starts all Swiss training flights (visual and instrument flights) for prospective professional pilots in Grenchen. This collaboration is a win-win situation.
At the same time, it underscores the high level of standards of both partners. Grenchen Airport wishes much success to SAT as well as all SAT flight trainees in the beautiful, low-emission and modern-equipped training aircraft.
