Since 1st September, observations of take-off and landing flight paths has been carried out in Grenchen. Seven men and two women from the region are monitoring the approach and departure routes around Grenchen Airport. The flight path observations are a contribution to safety and to a reduction in noise, and thus to the building of trust between Grenchen Airport and the local population. The group of observers is made up of part-time employees, pensioners and teachers. They work for a period of three weeks and visit all sites three times in groups of two. The observations will be carried out at these six sites:
  • Altreu
  • Arch
  • Meinisberg
  • Nenigkofen
  • Rüti
  • Staad
